Authorities arrest Jamarcus Glover in Louisville; What we know

During his arrest on Monday, investigators said officers recovered suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, suboxone and ammunition.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Jamarcus Glover, a key figure in the Breonna Taylor death investigation, on Monday.

According to a news release, authorities arrested him from a house on Rodman Street. 

He was first arrested on drug trafficking charges in October 2023. He was also accused of using kids under the age of 18 to help him transport and sell heroin, fentanyl and other illegal drugs.

Glover was originally charged with conspiracy to traffic drugs, unlawful transaction with a minor, engaging in organized crime and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. 

After he posted his $20,000 cash bond, he failed to appear for his court date, and authorities issued a bench warrant for his arrest.

Since then, he has also been charged with:

  • Engaging in organized crime - criminal syndicate.
  • Aggravated trafficking in a controlled substance - fentanyl.
  • Trafficking in a controlled substance - cocaine.
  • Tampering with physical evidence.
  • Bail jumping.
  • Persistent felony offender.

During his arrest on Monday, investigators said officers recovered suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, suboxone and ammunition.

In court on Wednesday, the judge set Glover's bond at $50,000 full cash.

He will be back in court on Feb. 9 at 9 a.m.
