LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The sheriff in Carroll county, Ky. is facing at least one felony charge after he was indicted Thursday.
Jamie L. Kinman is charged with tampering with physical evidence, a felony, and official misconduct, a misdemeanor.
The indictment alleges that between November and December of 2013, while acting as Sheriff, he destroyed, mutilated, concealed or removed physical evidence related to an official proceeding.
Kinman is expected to be in court November 17.
He won re-election on Nov. 4.
