LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The 21-year-old accused of killing a 12-year-old at Cherokee Park Sept. 30 was in arraignment court Friday morning.
Joseph Cambron appeared before a judge where he was officially arraigned on murder and tampering with physical evidence charges.
Cambron was arrested Thursday in connection with the stabbing death of 12-year-old Ray Etheridge.
He pleaded not guilty and his bond was set at $500,000 and his due back in court Oct. 13.
Cambron's criminal background is limited to a charge of escape and a sexual abuse charge that was later dismissed.
