CLARK COUNTY, Indiana — Editor's Note: Above video originally aired on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024.
Two people have been arrested days after a road rage shooting in Clark County, including the man who was shot.
Indiana State Police (ISP) said Kasey Haven, 30, and Ricky Hill, 64, sideswiped each other while driving north on I-65 last Friday.
Neither driver pulled over after the minor crash, but instead "made gestures at each other" and displayed firearms toward one another, ISP Master Trooper Philip Hensley said on Thursday.
Haven and Hill eventually stopped on the I-65 off-ramp near Henryville and got out of their car to confront each other.
During that confrontation, ISP said Haven pointed her handgun at Hill and fired four shots, striking him once in the arm.
Hill was transported to the University of Louisville Hospital to be treated for his injuries, while Haven was detained and later arrested, ISP said.
Haven is charged with multiple felonies including aggravated battery, battery with a deadly weapon, intimidation with a deadly weapon, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and pointing a firearm at another person.
She's also charged with a misdemeanor for aggressive driving.
An arrest warrant was later filed for Hill and served Thursday afternoon, days after the shooting.
Hill is charged with one felony, intimidation with a deadly weapon, and a misdemeanor for aggressive driving.
