Clarksville Police arrest man hours after manhunt in southern Indiana

Jordan Lauyans was charged with possession of methamphetamine, resisting law enforcement, invasion of privacy and other charges according to an arrest citation.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is in custody hours after a manhunt early Saturday morning in southern Indiana. 

The Clarksville Police Department posted on Friday, the search of Jordan M. Crawford Lauyans. Police listed Lauyans as 'dangerous and possibly armed'. 

According to the release, the Clark County Department's Air Unit, officers from Jeffersonville Police Department and Clarksville Police Department aided in the capture of Lauyans. 

Clarksville Police Department released the following statement:

"K9, drones, helicopter and man power. A Great display of local agencies using their resources and working together to apprehend a dangerous fugitive. We want to thank these agencies and our hard working officers for getting the job done late on a Friday.  #teamwork"

Lauyans was charged with possession of methamphetamine, resisting law enforcement, invasion of privacy, possession of controlled substance and other charges according to an arrest citation according to an arrest citation.
