LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is dead after he was shot early Monday morning in the Algonquin neighborhood.
The coroner's office identified the victim as 27-year-old Bryce Mitchell.
At about 12:30 a.m., Louisville Metro police responded to a shooting on Dixie Highway at West Lee Street, according to an LMPD news release.
Officers on scene found Mitchell who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital where he died shortly after his arrival.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating. There are currently no known suspects.
