LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Police are investigating after a juvenile was shot and killed in the Chickasaw neighborhood.
Metro Police said officers responded to the area of the 3400 block of Garland Avenue around 9:20 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said officers found the victim, 14-year-old Johnathon L. Rodgers, lying in a front yard. Officers on scene said Rodgers was “shot in the head” and beyond help. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
