Remembering Libby & Abby: 7 years since Delphi girls disappeared

Abby Williams and Libby German were last seen on Feb. 13, 2017. Their bodies were found the next day — Valentine's Day.

DELPHI, Ind. — It's been seven years since Abby Williams and Libby German disappeared in Delphi.

The young friends were last seen on Feb. 13, 2017, and their bodies were found the next day — Valentine's Day.

German's sister, Kelsi, posted a message on social media Tuesday evening, thanking the community for supporting her and the girls' families.

"Thank you for all the love. You have no idea how much we appreciate you and all the support over the last 7 years," she wrote. "Couldn't continue this journey without you all."

On Monday, German posted a plea to X, formerly known as Twitter, urging her followers to share photos of Abby and Libby this week.

"As the next couple of days pass, please share these faces. They’re the ones we want to see," she wrote.

The families of the girls continue to wait for justice. The man charged with Abby and Libby's deaths, Richard Allen, is expected back in court on March 18.
