LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A woman was killed and a man was injured after a double shooting Saturday morning in Louisville's Bon Air neighborhood.
About 7 a.m., Louisville Metro police's 6th Division responded to reports of one person down at a residence in the 3300 block of Noe Way.
LMPD discovered two victims: one man and one woman down at the residence with gunshot wounds. The woman, later identified as Daryasia Wingo, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene and the male victim was transported to the hospital with a life-threatening gunshot wound, according to an LMPD news release.
LMPD's homicide unit responded and is investigating the shooting, and believes all parties are accounted for.
