LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville Metro Police Department responded to a shooting in downtown Louisville early Sunday morning.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified 31-year-old Devontae Beach as the victim of the shooting.
Police dispatched to the 800 block of West Main Street after a report of a possible shooting
Once police located the scene and began investigating, officers approached a vehicle nearby where they located an adult man suffering from a gunshot wound.
EMS were called to the scene and pronounced the man deceased. Police say there are no suspects.
The LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating.
