LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Police confirmed a man died in the hospital three weeks after a shooting in the St. Joseph neighborhood.
LMPD said they received multiple calls after a man was shot not too far from the Dairy Kastle around Eastern Parkway and Bradley Avenue around 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
Police said the man, believed to be in his 20’s, had a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
He was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Police were then notified weeks later that the man had died from his injuries.
Police do not have a suspect but said he fled westbound on foot, passing a nearby White Castle.
Officers are currently canvassing the neighborhood for possible witnesses.
