Elizabethtown, Ky. (WHAS11) - A man has been arrested after police say he admitted to killing a woman during a blackout.
Joseph Bryan Capstraw faces one charge of murder.
While investigating a call of a suspicious person in the 500 block of Joan Avenue, officers located Capstraw. Reports indicate Capstraw said he needed a hospital and that he "killed her."
Officers report Capstraw took them to the body of an unidentified female.
According to reports, it is believed Capstraw was in a verbal altercation with the woman when he blacked out. Capstraw then allegedly observed the woman, beaten badly, and that he had multiple injuries on his hands.
A full investigation is still undergoing.
