LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Kentucky's former medical examiner was on the stand Friday in the Josh Young trial.

George Nichols explained what he believes happened to 14-year-old Trey Zwicker the day he was murdered.

Despite witness testimony that Young used a baseball bat to help kill Zwicker, Nichols said he believes a linear rod-like item was used and he used clay impressions of a Louisville Slugger and plumbing pipe to demonstrate his theory.
