LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Jack Harlow's former DJ, Ronnie O'Bannon, will not serve prison time for his role in the death of a bartender during Kentucky Derby weekend in 2021.
O'Bannon pleaded guilty Tuesday to amended charges of reckless homicide - amended down from murder - and tampering with physical evidence. He was sentenced to 2.5 years, but given credit for time served, and was released from custody.
O'Bannon had been on home confinement since May 2021 after he posted 10% of his $500,000 bond.

O'Bannon was charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence following the deadly shooting of 37-year-old Kasmira Nash at Vibes Restaurant and Ultra Lounge in the early hours of May 1, 2021. LMPD said officers responded to a call about the shooting at the nightclub at around 1:30 a.m. When officers arrived, they found one man injured and one woman dead.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office later identified the woman as Nash. O'Bannon claimed self-defense following the incident.
O'Bannon is known professionally as Ronnie Lucciano.
Jury selection was scheduled to begin Tuesday for the trial. Harlow was ordered earlier this year to give a deposition in the case.
