Hearing in federal court for fugitive Eric Conn on Wednesday

A fugitive with Louisville ties was captured in Honduras and will appear in federal court on Wednesday.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WHAS11) – There is a hearing in federal court for fugitive Eric Conn on Wednesday and it is set for 1:30 p.m.

Conn is back on U.S. soil after he was arrested on Saturday in Honduras.

The disgraced lawyer went on the run after ditching his ankle monitor in early June, days before he was set to be sentenced for his role in a $550-million social security fraud investigation.

Conn arrived in Lexington late Tuesday evening in handcuffs, surrounded by FBI agents.
