A woman arrested and charged in three violent home invasions in Louisville has been indicted by a Jefferson County grand jury.
Jamara Cureton, 30, has been charged with five counts of robbery, assault and three counts of burglary – all in the first degree.
Cureton is connected to three incidents from Nov. 2023 to the most recent on Jan. 8, 2024.
In that incident, she is accused of entering an 82-year-old woman’s home in the 11000 block of Ridge Lake Drive in Valley Station.
Police said Cureton broke into the woman’s home, violently assaulted her and stole valuable items. The victim was hospitalized and suffered several injuries.
LMPD said Cureton had confessed to the incident after seeing images of the woman’s injuries. She also confessed to two other home invasions on Hilda Court and Deering Road.
Cureton is expected to appear in court on the charges on Feb. 26 at 9 a.m.
