LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is dead and a woman is in the hospital after a shooting happened in the Jeffersontown area on Tuesday.
Jeffersontown Police Chief Rick Sanders said police were called to Old Six Mile Lane around 10:30 a.m.
When officers arrived, he said they found a man and a woman shot. The man died at the scene and first responders transported the woman to the hospital where she went into surgery. The extent of her injuries are unknown at this time.
