LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The trial for 17-year-old Josh Young has recessed for the day.
Tuesday morning, attorneys talked to potential jurors. They were working to make sure no one has already formed an opinion on the case or on Josh Young, especially since the trial is attracting national media.
Young is charged with Complicity to Murder and Tampering with Physical Evidence in the beating death of his step-brother, 14-year-old Trey Zwicker. It happened back in 2011 behind Liberty High School. Young's father, Josh Gouker, pleaded guilty to the murder and was sentenced to life in prison.
The parties will do juror strikes this afternoon, then will begin opening statements Wednesday morning.
