LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A juvenile is recovering in the hospital after he was shot in the jaw Tuesday night in the Shawnee neighborhood.
At about 10:10 p.m., Louisville Metro police responded to a report of a shooting in the area of 41st and Market streets, according to an LMPD news release.
When officers arrived on scene, they didn't initially find a victim however, a juvenile victim was eventually found inside a home in the 100 block of South 41st Street.
The victim was found shot in the jaw. He was taken to UofL Hospital where authorities say he is expected to survive.
