Kentucky authorities capture 2 men who walked away from Lexington jail

Adam Ball and Bradley Cornwell are back behind bars after police say they walked away from the Blackburn Correctional Complex on Nov. 3.

KENTUCKY, USA — A week after two inmates walked away from a correctional facility in Lexington, police said the two have been located.

Kentucky State Police said 38-year-old Adam Ball and 40-year-old Bradley Cornwell are back in custody.

It’s unclear when both men were apprehended but KSP said Corwell is in custody at the Bourbon County Detention Center while Ball is in custody at the Fayette County Detention Center.

Ball and Cornwell were accused of leaving the Blackburn Correctional Complex, a low security correctional facility in a water truck on Nov. 3.

Both men are facing second degree escape charges while Corwell has an additional charge of fleeing and evading police in Bourbon County.
