LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Grayson County man is accused of killing a woman with a samurai sword.
George Greer, 49, admitted to being under the influence of drugs at 7:30 a.m. Monday, according to arrest documents.
He was with three other people when officers said there was a fight.
Greer allegedly grabbed a sword and started swinging. He slashed three people, with one woman dying from her injuries.
Officers said he took a car and ran from the scene. He allegedly broke into a home, and stole a car while running from police.
Greer's arrest documents said he eventually got the stolen vehicle stuck in mud at a nearby farm. He got out of the vehicle and tried to run away on foot, but authorities eventually caught him.
Greer was arrested and charged with murder, attempted murder, burglary, and running from police.
He's currently being held at the Grayson Co. Jail.
