LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Kentucky State Police say they have concluded their investigation into a deadly road rage in Carroll County in June.
In July, a Carroll County Grand Jury declined to press charges in this case.
According to the initial investigation, on June 8, two vehicles exited Interstate 71 at Exit 43 in Carroll County. One of the drivers involved was speaking with dispatch and informed them the other driver displayed a firearm.
KSP said both cars left the interstate while traveling on KY 389 before shots were fired.
Daniel Shouse of Carrollton, was shot by the driver occupying the other vehicle.
Shouse was pronounced dead at the scene by the Carroll County Coroner.
Police do not have the driver suspected of shooting Shouse.
KSP said this is an ongoing investigation.
