According to court documents, Terry Henderson was driving the car east on Cedar Street toward 6th Street on his way to a transport.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville Metro Department of Corrections (LMDC) worker was arrested for reportedly driving under the influence in a marked LMDC car back in September.

According to court documents, on Sept. 26, 2023, Terry Henderson was driving the car east on Cedar Street toward 6th Street on his way to a transport.

He then turned left on Cedar, which is a one way, and tried to correct himself by making a U-turn in front of the Louisville Gardens parking garage documents show.

Henderson then hit the vehicle of an off-duty LMDC officer as he was exiting the garage according to documents.

He was taken to a medical center and consented to a breath alcohol test, where he blew a .151 the first time and .171 the second time according to investigators.

Henderson is charged with DUI and official misconduct.
