LMPD: 2 dead, 2 hospitalized after shooting at Louisville club in Southland Park neighborhood

Police responded to a call of a shooting at a club called The Hot Spot.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Two people are dead and 2 others are left hospitalized after a shooting early Saturday morning. 

Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) responded to a call of a shooting at a club called The Hot Spot, located at 282 Evangeline Ave., around 5 a.m. That's in the Southland Park neighborhood. 

When officers arrived, they said they found a man who had been shot to death and another man and woman shot but still alive. The man and woman were taken to UofL Hospital where the man later died from his injuries. 

On Monday, the Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified one of the victims as 26-year-old Aaron Anderson.

Shortly after, LMPD said another man arrived at the hospital saying he was shot at the same club. 

At this time, authorities the man is in stable condition and the woman is in serious condition. 

LMPD's Homicide Unit is leading this investigation. There are currently no known suspects and police are asking for the public's help.
