'She didn’t deserve this': Authorities identify woman killed in Berry Boulevard shooting

Police said all parties have been accounted for.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — An act of gun violence has left another Louisville family broken.

Crystal Fultz, 45, was shot in the 1500 block of Berry Boulevard just after midnight Sunday.

She and another victim were transported to UofL Hospital where she later died from her injuries.

“She was just loving – always happy,” her daughter Shayna Fultz said.

Family members say she was family oriented mother and grandmother who always liked to laugh.

They are gripping with the unexpected loss, telling WHAS11 News they spoke to her a day before. The cherished memories are within their hearts, but now are focused on finding answers on what led up to the shooting.

Shayna said she will miss being able to call her and those moments where Crystal made her feel better.

They are hoping the public can help them raise money for funeral expenses through GoFundMe.

“We’re just trying to get the money for a funeral and a proper burial for her,” Shayna said. “She didn’t deserve this. I’m going to miss her, and I don’t think I will ever be okay without her.”

Metro Police say all parties have been accounted for and the investigation is ongoing.
