LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police have made an arrest in a fatal shooting that happened in the Algonquin neighborhood back in September.
LMPD said they arrested William Irvin around 4 p.m. on Wednesday after a short chase.
According to court documents, Irvin shot 18-year-old Jerrick Young after Young left the JJ Food Mart on Dixie Highway.
Police said Irvin then jumped in a waiting vehicle and fled the scene.
Irvin's been charged with murder.
