Coroner identifies 18-year-old killed in Park Hill shooting

Investigators said officers were first called to the area for a ShotSpotter run that then turned into a shooting.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) is investigating a fatal shooting that happened in the Park Hill neighborhood late Monday night.

Investigators said officers were first called to the 2300 block of Bolling Avenue for a ShotSpotter run that then turned into a shooting.

When they arrived, authorities said they found Durelle Moxley, 18, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He later died at the scene.

LMPD said they are working to determine a motive, and that there aren't any suspects at this time.
