LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Police have arrested a man in connection to the fatal stabbing in the Newburg neighborhood on Thursday.
According to court documents, Eddieser Machin, the victim's son, was charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence.
Louisville Metro Police said officers were called to the 4100 block of Quiet Way just past 2:45 p.m.
The report says Machin and the victim were heard arguing over cooking before the alleged stabbing.
When they arrived, authorities said they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds. He later died at the scene.
Police said they found Machin still in the home covered in suspected blood.
Court documents say the murder weapon was also found in Machin's bedroom under his mattress.
