LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A 44-year-old man is recovering in a hospital following a stabbing in Old Louisville.
The incident happened in the 1200 block of 1200 block of South First Street around 1:13 a.m. Saturday.
Officers found the victim with multiple lacerations to his stomach and leg.
They rendered aid to the man until additional medical help arrived.
He was transported to UofL Hospital where he is expected to survive.
Police said the suspect fled the scene before police arrive.
Fourth Division detectives are handling the investigation.
