LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Police are investigating after a man was killed in a shooting Wednesday morning.
Around 10:15 a.m., Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) were dispatched to the 1600 block of Nelligan Ave. on a report of a person down. That's in the Portland neighborhood.
Officers found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is conducting a death investigation at this time. There are no known suspects yet.
