LMPD looking for persons of interest in storage unit thefts in Bon Air neighborhood

Since the beginning of July, LMPD believes these individuals have been responsible for a string of thefts at facilities near Bardstown Road and Goldsmith Lane.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police are asking for the public’s help to identify persons of interest after storage unit facilities have been burglarized in the Bon Air neighborhood

In their investigation, LMPD said burglaries appear to target multiple storage units around the area of Bardstown Road and Goldsmith Lane. They believe the burglaries began around the beginning of July and into the first week of August.

The individuals were captured on surveillance video in plain clothes and in some instances, disguises.

They have been using Chevrolet pickup and a white U-Haul van without its markings.

LMPD said the individuals have taken “hundreds to thousands of dollars” worth of personal property.

“Our Detectives from the Sixth Division would really like a chance to speak to them as this investigation is ongoing,” LMPD said in a Facebook post.
