LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) – A 23-year-old Louisville man was arrested after police said he got into a verbal argument on Ramona Lane that led to an assault on Nov. 26.
LMPD said James Nichols came at a person with a sword following a verbal argument. That person then pulled a gun and got the sword away from Nichols.
According to police, Nichols got a second sword and struck the person with it.
The person said there was a struggle for the sword and the person ended up on top of Nichols. During the struggle, police said, Nichols head butted the person several times.
Nichols is charged with assault.
