LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is dead after a shooting in the Russell neighborhood on Saturday morning.
Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) responded to a call for service around 10 a.m. on a report of a shooting in the 300 block of S. 18th St. near Jefferson St.
When officers arrived, they said they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound inside a home. EMS was called to the scene and pronounced him dead.
LMPD’s Homicide Unit will be handling the investigation.
There are no known suspect(s).
