LMPD: Man dies in single-vehicle collision Saturday morning

LMPD’s Traffic Unit is handling the investigation.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man was pronounced dead after a single-vehicle collision early Saturday morning. 

Louisville Metro Police Department responded to the 4700 block of Glen Rose Road on a report of a motor vehicle collision.

According to the release, the preliminary investigation revealed a man was traveling alone in a vehicle on Glen Rose before leaving the roadway and sticking a tree head-on for some unknown reason. 

First responders were dispatched to the scene and discovered the man was unrestrained. 

Officials pronounced him deceased at the scene. No other vehicles were involved.
