LMPD: Man dies after hit-and-run on West Broadway

Police said their preliminary investigation shows the man was walking on West Broadway when a driver hit him.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is dead after a hit-and-run in Louisville on Thursday night.

Just after 11:30 p.m., authorities said officers responded to a call of a pedestrian who had been hit on the 3400 block of West Broadway. 

Police said their preliminary investigation shows Arnaz Gill, 35, was walking on West Broadway when a driver hit him. That driver then fled police said.

Investigators said Gill died at the scene.

LMPD’s Traffic Unit is handling this hit-and-run investigation which is ongoing.
