LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Police are investigating after a man was found shot in his car in Louisville's Newburg neighborhood on Wednesday night.
At about 7:30 a.m., Louisville Metro Police responded to a shooting at Poplar Level Road and Indian Trail, according to an LMPD news release.
Officers on scene found a man who said he had been shot inside his vehicle by people he didn't recognize.
The man was transported to UofL Hospital. Officials expect him to survive.
The LMPD Non-Fatal Shooting Units is investigating. There are currently no known suspects.
