LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is in the hospital on Wednesday after being shot and driving his vehicle into another vehicle in the Portland neighborhood.
According to Louisville Metro Police, officers were called to the corner of 31st and Bank Street on reports of a shooting around 4:30 p.m.
Their initial investigation revealed a vehicle with several people inside pulled up next to the victim's vehicle and shot him investigators said. The victim then drove away and hit another occupied vehicle.
Those that were in the vehicle the shots were fired from fled the scene police said.
The gunshot victim is at the hospital and is expected to survive authorities said.
