Coroner identifies 29-year-old killed in Algonquin neighborhood shooting

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A 29-year-old Louisville man is dead after a shooting in the Algonquin neighborhood Friday night.

Louisville Metro Police said officers responded to a report of a shooting at 23rd Street at Algonquin Parkway around 8:30 p.m.

When officers arrived, police said they found a man, later identified as Dion Sutton, who had been shot. Sutton later died at the hospital.

LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating. Investigators said they don't have any suspects at this time.
