LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is in the hospital after a late-night shooting on Monday.
Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) said officers responded to a call of a shooting around 9:35 p.m. in the 3400 block of Newburg Road near Bashford Manor Lane.
When officers arrived, police said they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds in a common area of an apartment complex.
Officers rendered aid until EMS arrived and took him to the hospital according to investigators.
Police said the man is expected to survive.
