LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is dead after a deadly shooting in the Russell neighborhood Wednesday evening.
Around 8:35 p.m., Louisville Metro Police investigators said officers were called to the 2100 block of West Madison Street for a welfare check.
When they arrived, authorities said they found a man who had died from being shot.
The coroner's office later identified him as 58-year-old Rodney Bowman.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating.
