LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police is investigating what they believe is a domestic incident that happened on Wednesday.
Authorities said officers were originally called to the 5000 block of Greenbridge Way around 7:15 p.m. on reports of a shooting.
That's in the Okolona neighborhood in between Preston Highway and Jefferson Boulevard.
When officers arrived, police said they found 44-year-old Amy Skelton who had sustained multiple blunt force injuries.
She was taken to UofL Hospital but she later died police said.
While investigators haven't arrested anybody, they said this appears to be a domestic incident.
