LMPD investigating after woman found shot in Taylor Berry

Police also said the injured woman hit a man operating a moped while trying to leave the scene in her car.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. —  A shooting in the Taylor Berry neighborhood has left a woman injured.

Metro Police said officers found a woman near the area of Oleanda Avenue and Taylor Boulevard with a gunshot wound just after 8 p.m. Saturday.

The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

In their investigation, police said the woman who was shot was trying to leave in car when she struck a man aboard a moped.

He was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

LMPD believes the woman had been shot around Beecher Street and Henry Avenue in the Wyandotte neighborhood.

Police do not have any suspects.
