Louisville man pleads guilty to 2022 homicide in Taylor-Berry neighborhood

A man has pleaded guilty in the June 2022 fatal shooting of a man on Central Avenue.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man has pleaded guilty to a 2022 fatal shooting in the Taylor-Berry neighborhood.

According to the Commonwealth Attorney’s office, Gregory Bell pleaded guilty to murder and other charges on Monday.

Prosecutors said in June 2022, Bell shot Tremont Tobin multiple times outside of a home on Central Avenue, killing him.

At the time of his arrest, detectives said a doorbell camera recorded the incident.

Prosecutors are recommending a 25-year sentence for the charges.
