LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is in the hospital recovering after being shot early Sunday morning, according to Louisville Metro Police (LMPD).
Police said the man was found around 6:20 a.m. in the 2700 block of West Broadway in the Russell neighborhood.
Authorities said the man was alert and conscious and was transported to the University of Louisville Hospital.
He is expected to survive his injuries.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is handling the investigation, however there are no known suspects.

Sunday's shooting happened near a Louisville nightclub where one person was killed and seven others were injured last weekend in another shooting.
