SHEPHERDSVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville woman was arrested after police seized a "significant" amount of meth in Shepherdsville on Wednesday.
Stephanie Piston was arrested in connection with the seizure of more than one pound of meth, according to a news release.
The Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force (GHCNTF) said the arrest is part of an ongoing collaborative effort with the Homeland Security Investigations to "proactively identify and disrupt criminal activity within Bullitt County."
"The partnership between local and federal agencies continues to play a crucial role in combating drug trafficking and ensuring community safety," a spokesperson for GHCNTF said.
Piston is currently being held at the Bullitt County Detention Center. Her bond is set at $50,000 full cash.
