LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police are investigating a double shooting in the Russell neighborhood.
Police were called to the 2400 block of West Madison Street around 4:30 a.m. Monday, according to LMPD. That's where officers found an adult man and woman inside a car with gunshot wounds.
Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
The Coroner's Office later identified them as 41-year-old Ebony Shepard and 42-year-old Dashawn Powell.
The LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating and no details on potential suspects have been released.
