Man arrested in connection with June 11 shooting

Rogerrick Miller, 22, is charged with attempted murder after a verbal argument over cab fare left a man in "grave condition," an arrest citation says.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — According to an arrest citation, 22-year-old Rogerrick Miller is charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting in the Russell neighborhood June 11.

The shooting, which took place at 10th street and Muhammad Ali Blvd, left one man in "grave condition."

During LMPD's investigation, it was determined that the victim and Miller got into a verbal argument over payment of a cab ride, an arrest citation says. Miller than drew a gun and shot the victim in the neck causing paralysis. 

In addition to attempted murder, Miller is charged with assault and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. 

It is unclear at this time when Miller will appear in court.
