LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is dead after a shooting in the Parkland neighborhood on Thursday afternoon.
Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) received a call on a shooting in the 2700 block of W. Kentucky St. around 3:30 p.m.
When officers arrived, they said they found Donavan Reese, 19, suffering from "penetrating trauma" sustained from apparent gunshot wounds. Police started life-saving measures until LMEMS arrived.
LMEMS took Reese to UofL Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
