LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man was found dead Sunday night in southwest Louisville.
At about 9:15 p.m., Louisville Metro police responded to the 15000 block of Dixie Highway on a "trouble run," according to an LMPD news release.
Officers found a man who was "obviously deceased" in the area. He was pronounced dead on the scene. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office later identified the victim as Gordon Ritchie, 78, of Louisville.
LMPD'S Homicide Unit is investigating. Police have not released any suspect information at this time.
