LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is dead after he was shot early Tuesday morning in the Portland neighborhood.
At about 12:20 a.m., Louisville Metro police responded to a shooting in the 400 block of North 22nd Street, according to an LMPD news release.
Officers on scene found a man suffering from a gunshot wound inside a residence. He was pronounced dead on scene.
The coroner's office later identified him as 27-year-old Drew Allgood.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is handling this investigation. There are currently no known suspects.
